At August, 12 and 13, 2015, professors Flávio Silva and Luiz Cláudio Theodoro participate in the First Workshop to Foster Brazil-USA-Europe Research Collaborations on Telecommunication Networks.
The workshop was held at UNICAMP in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The participants represented twelve different institutions, nine from Brazil, two from Europe and one from the United States.
The MEHAR members presented the ongoing research and present themes for research collaboration related with the creation of networks that fulfill users and applications requirements with a smarter and efficient use of resources that can enable a new category of services and applications considering uses cases related with IoT, Smart Cities and Smart Agriculture for example. The scenarios consider new network architectures in a clean slate point of view or an evolved scenario (5G).
